The Kitimat Fire Department is celebrating another win in one of the community’s most anticipated charity hockey games.
The Kitimat Fire Department secured a convincing victory in the Guns and Hoses Charity Hockey game held on Saturday night, beating the Kitimat RCMP Detachment 7-3.
A full arena cheered on both teams while helping raise $25,000 for the Kitimat Fire Ladder of Hope charity.
The game appeared within reach for either team until the third period, when the fire department scored four unanswered goals to seal the win.
Organizers thanked sponsors, volunteers and the people of Kitimat for their support of the charity game.
